Lemon Marinade

Our Tangy Lemon Marinade Flavouring is an ideal ingredient that blends easily with mayonnaise, yoghurt or crème fraiche for tangy dips, sandwich filling toppings/dressings and fruit smoothies, mix with breadcrumbs for fish pie toppings, re-hydrates quickly when mixed with water or oil to make a tangy paste for stir fries, or reduced down to a pouring tangy lemon salad dressing, also try as powder or mixed with melted butter and lightly sprinkled or poured over freshly cooked chicken pieces, fish or seafood.

Ingredients: Maltodextrin, Concentrated Lemon Juice Powder, Modified Maize Starch, Citric Acid, Natural Sea Salt, Sugar, Ground Turmeric, Lemon Oil.

Recommended Usage Rate: 8-10 % into chosen meat/fish/vegetable, or a base dressing (Mayonnaise).

How to use:

As a marinade: use 8–10% of the weight of your meat, fish or vegetables, for example 40–50g per 500g of chicken. Coat evenly and leave in the fridge for at least 15 minutes, or overnight for the best flavour, then roast, grill, bake or barbecue as usual.
For dips and dressings: blend 8–10% into mayonnaise, yoghurt or crème fraîche and stir well. For a salad dressing, whisk it into oil, then loosen with a little water to taste.
As a finishing touch: sprinkle lightly over cooked fish, chicken or roasted vegetables for an extra burst of lemon.
