The Taste Sensation Instant Meatless Burger Mix is an ambient blend of sustainable Plant-Based ingredients and is suitable for vegetarian and vegan diets, or just a great way of reducing/replacing the consumption of red meat in your diet, without compromising on taste and texture. The Meatless Fusion blend is very quick and is easy-to-prepare, (from powder to plate in under 12 minutes).

Serving Suggestion:

Empty  the contents of the packet into a mixing bowl (large enough to take the dry powder and water), give a quick stir to combine ingredients evenly, add the recommended amount of cold water and a small amount of oil (roughly one teaspoon for each quarter pound burger patty), gently mix  ingredients together, after a very short time (1-2 minutes), the mix will become a firm mince. Form into desired shape and size/weight. Pan fry for best results, heat a small amount of oil in a frying pan on medium heat, cook for 5-6 minutes, turning frequently, serve with preferred compliments. Ingredients Functionalities: 

Textured SOY Protein: Once hydrated, it forms a fibrous and spongy matrix, very similar to that of minced meat in terms of chewability and is a good source of protein (51%).

Coconut Oil Powder: Improves creaminess and mouthfeel, ideal solution for instant applications. 

Potato Starch: Helps to bind, thicken and obtain the right meaty-like texture and bite after cooking.

Wheat Protein (GLUTEN):  Improves water binding and bite, positive effect on freeze/thaw stability and a good source of protein (98%).

Mushroom Extract: reduces the use of salt by intensifying the flavour of the Meatless Fusion mix with a rich savoury umami taste, with no mushroom after taste.   

Methyl Cellulose: Maintains cohesiveness during cooking by forming a very firm gel and good source of fibre (93.5%).

(SOY) Protein Isolate: Has a high level of gel elasticity, emulsification and water/fat retention and good source of protein (90%). 

Red Miso Powder: boosts the overall umami flavour and aroma. 

Bamboo Fibre: High water/oil retention, with anti-caking properties and high in fibre (96%).

Yeast Extract: To enhance the mouthfeel taste and reduce the use of salt.

Colouring blend: Consisting of beetroot powder and malt extract, to mimic the fresh meat-like colour before cooking and browning when cooked.

Vitamin and Mineral Premix: To fill the micronutrient gap in beef and pork like meat analogues.

Spices: To boost the overall flavour profile.
