Textured Vegetable Protein (TVP) as it is also known is produced from soya beans (100% defatted soya four) and is suitable for Ovo-lacto Vegetarians and Vegans, it can be re-hydrated very easily by covering in boiling water for five minutes (one part TVP to 2.5- 3 parts boiling water), then it’s ready to add to your dish.
Cooking Instructions: To re-hydrate, use 2.5-3 parts boiling water; leave 5 minutes, then add to your dish.
Ingredients: Defatted Soya (SOYBEAN), Flour (98%), Colour: E150 (d) (2%).
