Sauce Mixes

The Taste Sensation Cold Water Powder sauce mixes are an excellent way to turn an ambient dry powder blend into a delicious cost saving sauce in minutes. Just make up the amount of sauce as and when required for freshness, reduced waste and storage, also an ideal ingredient where weight can be an issues, i.e. camping, caravanning, hiking.
Simply add one part powder to two parts water (warm or cold), gently stir for roughly 30 seconds, then leave to stand for a few minutes (to allow the sauce to thicken), give a final stir and adjust water content to required thickness, for the flavour to fully develop we suggest the sauce is mixed 1-2 hours before being required for use.
Use as a Marinade Method 1: pour the pre made sauce over selected meat portions allowing the sauce to coat all sides, place into the refrigerator and leave for as long as possible 1-2 hours minimum, overnight if possible for maximum flavour results. Roast, grill or barbecue in the usual way, the excess sauce can be thoroughly heated separately and used to baste the meat during the cooking process.
Use as a Marinade Method 2: dust the powder over selected meat portions, add some water and gently mix to allow the powder to absorb the water and the delicious sauce to develop. Adjust the powder and water to required coating consistency, place into the refrigerator and leave for as long as possible 1-2 hours minimum, overnight if possible for maximum flavour results. Roast, grill or barbecue in the usual way, the excess sauce can be thoroughly heated separately and used to baste the meat during the cooking process.
Use as a Sauce: thoroughly heat the pre made sauce stirring occasionally, simmer for 1-2 minutes, then pour over freshly cooked chicken, ribs or sausages, also use as a hot or cold dipping sauce or a sandwich/baguette dressing.
Use as a Flavouring: mix powder or pre-made sauce with mayonnaise for a tasty sandwich dressing.
Tip: to speed up the delicious flavour release, thoroughly heat the sauce stirring occasionally. Simmer for 1-2 minutes,
